From One Nursery Bed to a Thriving Community

The SGA (Start Small and Grow to Achieve) project began with a humble tree nursery bed created by Mukarange Community Tree Nursery Association (MCTNA). Today under IGRAO, the project manages 7 active community fish ponds, extensive Matooke banana plantations, and tree seedling distribution.

Because of this project, selected community children in Kyebitaka receive fresh fruit and fish meals twice a week, improving childhood nutrition and encouraging primary and secondary school attendance.
