FIELD PROTOCOLS & FAQS

Partnering with IGRAO & FAQs

Essential guidelines for institutional donors, researchers, and partners planning field engagements with IGRAO in Western Uganda.

How do NGOs and donors initiate a partnership?

Foundations, international NGOs, and humanitarian agencies can reach out directly via our Executive Directorate or complete the partnership inquiry form above. We provide comprehensive institutional concept notes, audited project budgets, and alignment with UNHCR/OPM settlement development priorities.

How do I arrange an official visit to Kyangwali Settlement?

Kyangwali Refugee Settlement operates under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) and UNHCR. All external visitors, researchers, and delegations should notify IGRAO at least two weeks prior to travel so that our administration can assist with local protocol clearances and host community arrangements.

How does IGRAO report on grant utilization and project outcomes?

All contributions toward education, school blocks, and SGA fish farming livelihoods are managed with full accountability. Sponsors and grant partners receive detailed quarterly progress metrics, verified financial utilization statements, and community impact evaluations.

What is the official response timeframe for inquiries?

Our executive administrative office in Kyebitaka reviews messages daily. Official partnership inquiries, grant proposals, and donor communications receive an initial formal acknowledgment within 24 to 48 business hours.
