IGRAO Africa Navigation

The team at IGRAO-Africa recently completed an interactive capacity-sharing workshop facilitated by Mr. Sumi Hamid, Founder and Executive Director of HuSa.

The professional development session centered on three foundational pillars vital for grassroots organizations operating in complex humanitarian environments:

Three Pillars of Organizational Strength

1. Leadership Principles: Exploring the core qualities, accountability, and ethical values required of community leaders working with vulnerable populations.

2. Clear and Constructive Communication: Examining how transparent, respectful, and structured communication within field teams strengthens trust, prevents misunderstandings, and enhances operational delivery.

3. Collaborative Teamwork: Emphasizing shared responsibility, cross-departmental support, and aligning team members behind collective community goals.

At IGRAO-Africa, we believe that durable community impact begins with a dedicated, well-aligned team. Investing in continuous learning ensures that our coordinators, teachers, and field officers can serve refugee families with competence, empathy, and professional integrity.

We express our sincere appreciation to Mr. Sumi Hamid and HuSa for contributing their time, practical field wisdom, and leadership experience to support our staff.
